Pie Crest

  • Rnd 1: Magic Circle, SC x6. (6)
  • Rnd 2: [INCx2] x6. (12)
  • Rnd 3: [SC, INC] x6. (18)
  • Rnd 4: [SCx2, INC] x6. (24)
  • Rnd 5: [SCx3, INC] x6. (30)

Cherry Filling

  • Rnd 1: Magic Circle, SC x6. (6)
  • Rnd 2: [SC, DC4TOG] in same stitch x6. (12)
  • Rnd 3: [INC] x12. (24)
  • Rnd 4: [SC, DC4TOG] x12. (24)
  • Rnd 5: [SC, INC] x12. (36)
  • Rnd 6: [SC, DC4TOG] x18, cut yarn weave in. (36)

Assemble and Pie Edge

  • Rnd 1: Join the filling and the pan together. The filling has 36 sts in its final round, and the pan has 48. This first round of pastry will have 48 sts in the round, so you will be working into every pan st once, but working 2 sts into every 3rd filling st. ( Stuff the fiber filling before closed.)
  • Rnd 2: Attach yarn, [SK x2, DC5TOG, SK x2, SLST] x 8. Shell Stitch Crochet on the pie edge.

Lattice

  • Making chain and HDC to the desired lenth, then attach on the pie.

MATERIALS:

  • I use 100% Acrylic yarn in Cream for pir crest and red for cherry filling.
  • Use a 3.5mm Crochet Hook
  • Scissor
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Stitch Marker (Recommended)

ABBREVIATIONS:

  • CH = Chain(s)
  • DC = Double crochet
  • DC4TOG = Bobble Crochet Stitch
  • FPDC = Front Post Double Crochet, Yoh and draw up a loop around the post of the next stitch at the front of work, inserting the hook from right to left. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.
  • HDC = Half double crochet
  • MOHDC = Modify Half double crochet
  • DCBP = Back Post-Double Crochet, Yoh and draw up a loop around the post of the next stitch at the back of work, inserting the hook from right to left. Yoh and draw through all loops on the hook.
  • DTR2tog = Double Treble Cluster in the Same Stitch/Space
