Crochet mini POPtarts can be used as a cute addition to a keychain, or as playful embellishment for a backpack or purse. It can also be attached to a hairpin or hairband for a unique accessory or even as a whimsical decoration for a Christmas tree. Its small size and adorable design make it a versatile and charming accessory that can add a touch of fun to any object or space.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Start by creating a slipknot with your yarn and insert your crochet hook through the loop.

Frosting

• Rnd 1: CHx9, SCx8. (8)
• Rnd 2: CHx1, Turn, SCx8. (8) Repeat to Rnd 10. Cut Yarn Weave in the end.
• Place safety eyes between Rnd 3 and 4. Embroidery the mouth with black yarn.

Crust

• Rnd 1: CHx9, SCx8. (8)
• Rnd 2: CHx1, Turn, SCx8. (8) Repeat to Rnd 10.
• Don’t Cut the yarn.

Assemble Frosting and Crust

• CHx1, Turn, HDCx8, HDCx10, HDCx8, HDCx10.
• Before Closing, Filling the fiber.
• Once you have decreased enough stitches, fasten off and weave in any loose ends.

Sprinkles

To add sprinkles or frosting, use a different colored yarn and stitch on small dots or lines onto the poptart shape.

• Embroidery the sprinkle as decoration.
• Finally, give your mini poptart shape a gentle blocking to help it hold its shape.
